A Journey Into AI...

Join us for an exciting journey into the realm of artificial intelligence at Women in Tech Fall 2023: Exploring and Embracing AI.

Our panel of tech professionals, AI enthusiasts, and DEI advocates will discuss the enigma of newer AI technologies, diving headfirst into common questions that surround this rapidly evolving field. How is AI becoming a driving force for innovation and productivity in business? What shifts are we witnessing in the job market, and what doors will it open for both professionals and companies alike?

Additionally, we’ll discuss how the integration of AI will affect women in particular through means of job security and hiring practices, as well as consider the types of data AI analyzes for content generation.

This event will serve as a guiding light not only for acknowledging the future of artificial intelligence, but becoming active agents in shaping it.

Together we'll explore how to embrace opportunities while mitigating obstacles, carving a collaborative path where humans and AI work in tandem towards an equitable, innovative future.

Lori Cagney Portrait

Lori Cagney, Panelist

Lori, a lifelong tech enthusiast and early adopter of digital technology, has a passion for AI that extends beyond her work as a finance professional. Lori began her journey by learning applications on the Apple IIe and breaking into the first console games. Her fascination for all things tech and digital predates the term "digital," thanks to her father's introduction to computers, gaming, and the art of tech inspiration. This passion has trickled down to her three amazing kids, who have built hobby computers, learned to code, and share her love of gaming.

Lori’s thirst for technological innovation is insatiable. She is a Beta tester for tech and digital platforms including AI, which she has used for both side gigs and adaptive purposes after a medical injury affected her vision.

Lori's story is a testament to the power of tech to transform our lives, whether for work, play, or to overcome challenges. She is a role model for individuals of all ages, and her dedication to innovation is inspiring.
